I love the soft look with the green from the Soft Sea Foam. The black accent makes this card very sophisticated.
Here is how I made this card:
1. Cut the Soft Sea Foam cardstock 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and fold in half.
2. Cut the Basic Black cardstock 5-1/4" x 4 and adhere to Soft Sea Foam card base.
3. Use the polkadots pattern from the decorative masks and Blending Brush to apply the Soft Sea Foam Ink to the 5"x 3-3/4" Basic White cardstock. Adhere to Basic Black cardstock.
4. Use Layering Circles Dies or Stitched Shapes Dies to cut Vellum cardstock.
5. Use Brilliant Wings Dies to cut Soft Sea Foam cardstock (5 butterflies), Basic Black (3 small butterflies and bricks) and Vellum cardstock (2 large butterflies).
6. Stamp the sentiment from the Hand-Drawn Blooms stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and fussy cut each words.
7. Use Bone Folder to curve the wings.
8. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a large butterfly with circle vellum, medium butterfly with vellum butterfly, 3 small butterflies with black butterflies. Then adhere to the polkadots Basic White cardstock.
9. Layout the pieces of sentiment and black bricks. Adhere them on the Basic White cardstock. (for easy placement, use "press'nseal".
10. Take 16 inch of the black and white twine from Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack and color with Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends marker. Make a pretty bow and adhere with Mini Glue Dots.
11. Attach Genial Gems on butterflies. Now you are all finished!
