Welcome to Everyday Stamping where I share my passion for paper crafting. I create beautiful cards, scrapbook pages and 3D projects using Stampin’ Up! Products. I hope you will find something you like.
To International Readers, there is a Google Translate button at the bottom for your convenience.
Today I used Ornate Garden Suite and made Step-It-Up cards from the easy and quick notecards I shared yesterday.
Ornate Garden Suit is an early release from a new catalog.
The color palette is:
Terracotta Tile
Early Espresso
I also used two stamp sets.
1. Ornate Style stamp set
It has many sizes of beautiful flowers and Art Nouveau style motifs.
2. Ornate Thanks stamp set
It has a variety of sayings to help you find the perfect words to express your thanks.
The focal point is the same as the notecard I shared yesterday.
Cut the focal point using Stitched Rectangle Dies.
Cut the terracotta tile card stock with Ornate Frame Dies.
I layered it to the whisper white card stock of the base.
Then I used the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush to color the stamped images picking up a little bit color from the Terracotta Tile Ink Pad.
It is difficult to see in the images, but it is so pretty with the glitter.
I added Gilded Gems to add more of a blinking effect.
The back of the gems have an adhesive so you can easily attach it to paper.
And one more little touch: A small stamp on the back of the card adds some cuteness.
How do you like it? Which one is your style?
A simple note card from yesterday (left) and today's card that has been upgraded (right).
Both are simple and elegant cards.
You need the Paper Trimmer and Die Cut Machine, but beginners can make the step-it-up card easily.
Everyone, Thank you so much for reading today.
I hope your day is filled with happiness even during this uncertain time.
Take care and see you soon!
